Surfaces
Five papers to print on: poster (default), cutting mat, notebook, kraft and riso. Each has a light and a dark value.
Use the switcher at the top of this page to try them. Your choice is stored in a cookie and read by the root layout, so the server renders the right paper on the first paint.
Each surface sets its own background, pattern, text color (--plop-on, --plop-on-soft), focus color (--plop-focus) and hatch color. Components never hard-code a surface: text that sits directly on the page uses the surface's "on" colors, and everything printed on paper uses ink.

Choosing a surface
<PlopProvider surface="mat" theme="dark">…</PlopProvider>
theme="system" (the default) follows prefers-color-scheme. You can also put data-plop-surface and data-plop-theme on any element (the docs site puts them on <html>); the tokens resolve per element.
